After 130 years, you'd be ready for a makeover too! The Yale Hotel, one of Vancouver's best-loved venues for live blues, jazz, R&B and soul, is about to undergo a huge renovation. Before they close their doors though, they'll be setting the city alive with five days of concerts, starting November 16 until their final night, Sunday.

Reviewed November 25, 2011. We found the Yale Hotel before we left Australia. It is the home to R & B and other music in Vancouver. We walked from our Hotel for a great night of music which happened to be a Bob Marley tribute night. Amazing seeing we were all the way from Aus and Bob Marley was the music we danced to when we met 32 years ago!
